Qtek Mechatronics

Our place is at 10 Chakarapani 2nd Street, right near the Race Course in Guindy. It’s a decent spot, though the street can get a bit narrow when everyone is trying to park their scooters and cars. We’ve been working out of this location for quite a while now. It’s a mix of mechatronics work and just trying to keep the office organized. We don’t have a big receptionist or a lobby with plants. When you walk in, you’re likely to see someone hunched over a circuit board or a mechanical part. It’s a small team, so everyone wears a lot of hats. One day you might be doing drawings and the next you’re helping unload a truck that just pulled up. We like it that way because it keeps things interesting and everyone knows how to do everything. The neighborhood is okay, with a few tea stalls nearby where we take our breaks and chat. It’s nice being near the Race Course because it gives us a bit of a landmark to tell people when they get lost. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. There’s no mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home to our families. Sometimes things go wrong and we have to stay late to fix them, but that’s just part of the deal. It’s a practical, local business and we’re happy to stay right here.
