A. R. V. Engineering Industries Private Limited is located at 6 Amaravathi Nagar Main Road Arumbakkam. The shop is right on the main road, so you can't miss it. We've been here doing engineering stuff for a long time now. It’s not a big corporate office or anything like that. Just a regular place with some machines and a few guys who know what they are doing. We mostly handle metal parts and some custom work that people bring in. The floor is usually covered in some oil and metal shavings, which is just part of the job. Some days are very busy and the noise from the drills is constant, while other days are a bit quieter and we catch up on maintenance. We don't really have a front desk, you just walk in and look for someone. Arumbakkam is a busy area and the traffic outside can be a bit much sometimes, but we’ve gotten used to it. We keep our tools on the wall and try to stay organized, even if it doesn't always look like it. There’s a small fan in the corner that helps when it gets hot, which is most of the time. We just focus on the work in front of us. No fancy mission statements or anything, just turning out parts and making sure the machines keep running. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and we’re happy to be part of the neighborhood here at number 6.
