Ajay Press Tools

Our workshop is located at 32, Sidco Industrial Estate in Ambattur. This is a big industrial hub, so we are surrounded by all kinds of manufacturing units. We specialize in press tools, so the sound of metal hitting metal is pretty much the soundtrack to our day. The building is a standard industrial shed with plenty of space for the heavy presses we use. It gets quite warm in there, especially when all the machines are running at once, but we have some big fans that help a bit. We are not a corporate office with people in suits. We are mostly in work clothes, dealing with steel and blueprints. The floor is usually covered in a bit of metal scrap and industrial oil, which is normal for a place like this. We work on making tools that other companies use to stamp out their own parts. It’s a lot of measuring and double-checking to make sure things fit right. We have a small tea stall just outside the gates where we usually take our breaks and talk to the workers from the other units. It is a tight-knit community here in Ambattur. We focus on our daily tasks and try to keep our machines in good shape. There’s no fancy talk here, just the work we do every day. We stay busy with the local manufacturing crowd and just keep things moving along steadily.
