Our office is in the New Complex on Sydenhams Road, numbers 34 and 35. It’s right in the heart of Nehru Market in Parrys. If you know Parrys, you know it’s one of the busiest, most crowded parts of the city. There’s people and carts everywhere. We deal with hydraulics, which is a lot of seals, pumps, and hoses. The shop is often filled with the smell of hydraulic fluid. It’s a bit messy, but that’s the trade. We’ve been in this complex for quite a while. We don't have a big website or a team of sales reps. People just walk in because they have a leak or a pump that stopped working. We take it apart, see what's wrong, and fix it. It’s simple, manual work. The market outside is constant noise, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. We know most of the other shop owners around here. It’s a tight-knit place despite the chaos. We don’t try to sound like a big multinational. We’re just A M Khaleel Hydraulics. We’ve got shelves full of parts and a few workbenches that have seen a lot of use. We work hard, deal with the heat and the crowds, and try to get every job done right. It’s what we’ve always done and we don’t plan on changing it. There is always a lot to do and never enough time. We just keep moving forward.
