Qpro Consulting Engineers

We've been here at Saraswathi Nagar 4th Street for a while now. It’s a busy little pocket in Adambakkam. Most days, we’re just sitting at our desks dealing with technical drawings and site calculations. People call us Qpro Consulting Engineers, but mostly we just think of ourselves as a small group of folks trying to get the math right. Engineering isn’t always glamorous work. There's a lot of back-and-forth with clients and making sure everything meets the current codes. We spend quite a bit of time looking at blueprints and checking figures. Our office at Plot No 75 isn't anything fancy, just a functional space where we get the work done. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially in the afternoons, but you eventually get used to it. We handle a variety of projects, mostly around the Chennai area. It’s hard work, and sometimes the deadlines get pretty tight, but that is just how this business goes. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby. If you walk past, you'll see us there. We try to be helpful when people come in with questions about their building plans. It’s basically just us and our computers most of the day. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the structures we work on are solid and follow the rules. It’s a steady job and we like the neighborhood.
