We work out of The Futura building, Block B, on the 8th floor. That’s at No. 334 Rajiv Gandhi Salai, right in Sholinganallur. Most people call it OMR. Being on the 8th floor gives us a decent view of all the traffic down on the main road, which is always crawling. It is a big office building, so it’s a bit different from the smaller places we used to be in. We still try to keep things casual, though. Our part of the floor is usually a bit of a mess with paper rolls and samples of concrete or steel. We do infrastructure projects, so we are often dealing with big contracts or large land developments. It’s a lot of coordination and waiting for things to happen. Even though we are in a fancy-looking building, we aren't really corporate types. We still prefer to spend our time out in the dirt at the site rather than sitting under the office lights. The AC is nice when the Chennai heat gets to be too much, but we don't spend more time here than we have to. Sholinganallur is a long commute for some of us, but it’s where all the growth is happening right now. We just keep our heads down and focus on the projects we have in front of us. It is a lot of work, but we’ve been doing it for long enough that we know the drill and just keep moving.
