Prestock

Prestock operates out of No. 108/16 in the Diamond Flats. It’s a bit different because we’re located in a residential complex. This gives the whole business a more personal feel. We aren't in a cold, grey office building. Instead, we have this space in Diamond Flats where we manage everything. It’s mostly quiet here, which is nice for getting things done. We have our desks set up in the main room, and the shelves are full of the items we keep on hand. When people come by, they often mention how much they like the quiet atmosphere of the flats. We’ve been here for a while now, and the neighbors are all used to us by this point. We try not to be too loud or cause any disruption. Our daily routine is pretty steady. We check what’s come in and what needs to go out. It’s a small operation, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. There’s no big management structure here. We just talk to each other and get the work sorted. Sometimes we have tea on the small balcony when the weather is nice. It’s a decent way to spend the workday. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the number on the door. People who need us usually know exactly where to go. It’s a very practical, down-to-earth way to run things. We like it here.
