We are situated in the old George Town area of Chennai, on Sembudoss Street. Our shop is at number 94, though some people still use the old number 43. George Town is a very crowded place, full of narrow lanes and a lot of history. Working with pipes in this environment is quite a challenge. There are always people and carts moving around outside our door. We stock all kinds of piping supplies for plumbing and industrial use. The building we are in is quite old, like most things in this part of the city. We spend our days answering the phone and checking what we have in the godown. It is a loud and busy atmosphere, but we are used to it by now. People come here from all over the city because this area is the hub for hardware and metal goods. We do not bother with fancy displays. The pipes are usually just stacked up wherever there is room. It can be hard to find a place to park, so most of our customers just stop for a second to load up their vehicles. We have been doing this for years, and it is just regular work for us. We handle the orders as they come and try to keep things moving as quickly as the heavy traffic allows. It is just the way business happens in George Town.
