Southern Hardware

We are located at No: 14, Venkatachala Mudali Street in Park Town. If you know the area, you know it’s always packed with people and shops. Our store is right in the middle of it all. It’s an old building, and we’ve got hardware stacked from the floor to the ceiling. It’s a bit dusty, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for among all the boxes. We don’t have a fancy computer system for everything; a lot of it is just knowing where things are kept. Park Town is a hectic place to work, with all the carts and deliveries moving through the narrow streets. We’ve been part of this street for a long time. It’s just us, the tools, and the hardware. We don’t go in for big marketing or anything like that. People come in, ask for a specific bolt or a hinge, and we find it for them. It’s the kind of place where we know the other shopkeepers and we see the same faces every week. It gets hot in the middle of the day, but that’s just life here. We just keep the shop running, sell what we have, and try to be useful to the people who walk through the door. It’s nothing more than a local hardware shop doing its thing. We've seen many businesses come and go, but we are still right here on the same street.
