You can find Jainam Hardwares at Shop No. 10, right on Mint Street in Sowcarpet. If you’ve ever been to Sowcarpet, you know how crowded and loud it gets. Mint Street is always full of people, carts, and bikes. Our shop is number 385 on that street. It’s a narrow place, but we have shelves that go all the way up to the ceiling. We keep all sorts of metal bits, screws, tools, and heavy hardware. It’s usually a bit dusty because of all the metal and the people coming in and out. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just rows of boxes and bins filled with stuff. Most of the time, someone comes in with a broken part and we have to dig around to find the right replacement. It’s a lot of climbing ladders and moving heavy boxes. We have been here for years, and we know exactly where every little nut and bolt is hidden. The street outside is never quiet, but we like the energy of the market. We aren't trying to be a big chain store. We are just a local hardware shop where you can get exactly what you need for a repair. We open up early and stay late because that’s when the workers are looking for supplies. It’s a tough way to make a living sometimes, but it’s what we know. We just count the inventory and keep the customers happy as best we can. Everyone on Mint Street is doing the same.
