Pranav Earthmovers Pvt. Ltd. is based over at P R V Towers on G S T Road in Guindy. If you have ever been through Guindy, you know how the traffic is on G S T Road, it’s always moving and always loud. Our office is at 16/8 on the tower floors. It is a bit different being in a tower compared to just having a yard for the machines, but this is where we manage everything from. We have been working with earthmoving equipment for quite some time now, dealing with the logistics of getting heavy machinery to different sites across the city. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking schedules. Chennai heat can be really something else, so being in the office helps, but most of the real work happens out on the field where the machines are actually digging. We spend a lot of time talking to site managers and making sure the operators have what they need. The Guindy area is very central, so it’s easy for people to find us, though parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes near the towers. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day-to-day tasks. It's not a very glamorous business, just machines and dirt and moving things around. We’ve been in this industry long enough to know that things rarely go exactly as planned, so we just take it one day at a time here at the office. We usually keep the windows shut against the noise.
