Power Refractories

If you’re looking for us, we are tucked away on 3rd Cross Street in Ra Puram. It’s a busy little area here in Mandaveli. Power Refractories has been operating out of this spot for a while now. We deal with high-heat materials, mostly for kilns or furnaces, though the shop itself isn't nearly as hot as the stuff we sell. The street can get a bit crowded with bikes and people walking to the temple, so finding parking right in front of number 14 is sometimes a gamble. We usually have samples sitting around and stacks of catalogs that have seen better days. It’s mostly just a few of us here handling the orders and answering the phone when it rings. Most our customers are guys who work in small factories or do maintenance on boilers. They know us by name. We don't spend much time on decorations or making the office look modern. It’s mostly desks, some heavy samples on the floor, and a lot of paperwork. Dealing with refractory bricks and lining means you get a bit of dust on your clothes by the end of the shift. That is just how it goes. People stop by to ask questions about heat levels or just to see what we have in stock. We try to keep it straightforward. No big speeches, just telling you what we have and how much it costs. It’s just a normal shop doing its thing.
