Pi Organic Store

You can find Pi Organic Store over at Shop No: 3A on 18th Street in Balaji Nagar. We are right opposite Vyasa Vidyalaya School here in Adambakkam. I decided to open this shop because I was tired of not finding good stuff in the local market. It's a small space, nothing like those big supermarkets you see in the malls. We mostly stock what’s in season. If the farmers don’t have it, we don’t have it. That is just how it works with organic things. Sometimes the vegetables look a bit small or have spots, but that’s natural. People in the neighborhood stop by after dropping their kids at the school. It gets a bit crowded in the mornings. I spend most of my time talking to customers about where the pulses or grains came from. It’s not a high-speed business. We take our time. My sister helps out with the shelves when she can. We try to keep things tidy, though with all the sacks of rice and flour, it’s a bit of a challenge. Dealing with small suppliers means things don't always arrive on time, but we make do. It feels good to provide things that aren't full of chemicals. We aren't looking to expand into a chain; we just like being part of the Adambakkam community. I’m usually there behind the counter every day.
