United Trade Links

We set up United Trade Links over at No. 75 in Perumalagaram. It’s not a very busy part of town, which suits us just fine. Most of the time it’s just the sound of the fans going and someone typing away. We deal with various trade bits and pieces. It’s not glamorous work, but it keeps the lights on. The building itself is an older one. We’ve had to fix the plumbing a couple of times lately. Our desks are old wooden ones that have been with us since we opened. We don’t really have a big team, just a few people who know the ropes. Most of our day is spent on the phone or writing out orders. We try to be sensible about how we spend our time. There isn't a lobby for visitors, so people usually just walk straight into the workspace. It can be a bit messy with samples and catalogs lying around. We don't really follow a strict corporate schedule. If the work is done, we might head out a little early, but usually, we are here until late making sure everything is sorted for the next morning. It’s a modest operation. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one by the gate. We’ve lived in this area for a long time, so we like being part of the local scene without making too much of a fuss.
