Shoe Comps Pvt. Ltd.

We are located over at No. 23. It’s a pretty basic setup here, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. Most days at Shoe Comps Pvt. Ltd., we just focus on getting the work done. The building has been here for a while, and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the place, like how the door sticks when it rains. We handle a lot of different things related to shoes, mostly the parts and pieces that people don’t always think about. It’s busy work, usually starting early in the morning and going until the evening. The staff here at No. 23 know each other well because we’ve been working side by side for a long time now. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the machinery running, but that is just how it is in this line of business. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty for the internet. Mostly, we are just moving boxes, checking the stock, and making sure the orders are ready for whoever is coming to pick them up next. It’s a practical environment. There is a small tea shop just down the way where most of us go during the break. It is not a corporate office with carpets and glass walls. Just a regular place where we show up, do the jobs that need doing, and then head home to our families once the sun starts to go down.
