Pairam Krishna Metal Hose

If you walk down Anna Salai and get near the Chetty Street Corner, you’ll find us at number 154. Pairam Krishna Metal Hose is a busy little spot, mostly because of where we are located. There’s always people walking by and cars honking at the corner. We spend our time dealing with all kinds of metal hoses and fittings. The shelves are pretty tall and packed with stuff, so sometimes it takes a minute to find the exact thing someone is looking for. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the stock, but we’ve gotten used to weaving around the boxes. We aren't much for fancy decorations; we just keep the parts labeled as best as we can. Most of us here have grease under our fingernails most of the time. It’s a practical business. We talk to a lot of mechanics and factory guys who need parts in a hurry. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to sell people things they don’t need. We just listen to what’s leaking or broken and try to find the hose that fits. It gets pretty humid here, so we keep the water jug full and the fan pointed right at the counter. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation where we try to be helpful and get the orders right. The street outside never seems to quiet down, but we like the energy of the neighborhood.
