Om D Signs

We are situated at New No 12, which used to be Old 50, in V C Garden, 1st Street. We’re right in R A Puram, specifically tucked behind the Saibaba Temple. Being so close to the temple means there’s always a certain energy and a lot of people moving around, especially on certain days of the week. Our shop focuses on signs and we have all sorts of materials lying around. There’s usually bits of vinyl, some boards, and tools scattered across the workbenches. It’s a functional space, not a showroom. We spend a lot of our time measuring things out and making sure the lettering looks right. It’s a lot of sitting at the computer and then standing at the table to cut things out. The light in the shop isn't always the best, but we've got a few extra lamps to help us see the fine details. R A Puram is a nice place to be based, even if parking can be a bit of a nightmare for visitors sometimes. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It’s just a regular business where we show up, do the work, and go home. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just make the signs and try to get them out the door on time. It is a simple way to make a living.
