N.R.S Steels

N.R.S Steels is a small operation located at No. 2 in the Gandhi Market area on Mkn Road in Guindy. If you know the market, you know it is always packed with people buying all sorts of things. We are right in the middle of all that activity. We have been here for a while now, dealing with different types of steel products. Working in Guindy is interesting because you meet everyone from small workshop owners to people just fixing something at home. Our shop is simple, just some racks for the steel and a small desk where we do the bills. It gets quite loud outside with the market noise and the traffic on Mkn Road, but we don't mind it much. We usually start early in the morning before it gets too hot. My nephew helps me out with the heavy lifting and making sure the stock is where it should be. We don't have a website or fancy brochures. People mostly find us because they were already in Gandhi Market or someone told them about us. We try to be helpful when people ask questions about what kind of metal they need for a job. Sometimes we run out of certain items, but we always try to get more in a few days. It is a lot of hard work, but we like being part of the market community here.
