Nikita Containers P. Ltd.

Nikita Containers P. Ltd. is up on the 4th Floor of Gokul Arcade. It’s right there at 2, Sardar Patel Road in Adyar. Being in an arcade means it’s a bit different from a factory floor. We have to deal with the elevators and the usual building noise. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always traffic outside the window. Sometimes it's hard to hear yourself think when the horns start going. We have a small office setup where we handle the paperwork side of things. It’s not very big, just a few desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. We try to keep things tidy but the papers always seem to pile up. Most of the time it’s just phone calls and coordinating with the other sites. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at once. We usually take turns going down for tea or a quick bite at the stalls nearby. The light in the office is okay in the mornings. We don’t have many decorations, just some calendars and a few old photos. It’s a practical space for practical work. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. Most of the other tenants know us. It’s just how we get through the week, one day at a time, making sure the numbers add up and the orders are moving. We leave when the sun goes down and the traffic settles just a little bit.
