Ars Polymers

Ars Polymers is located at 199, Maroof Sahib Street, right near Anna Salai. It is a crowded area and parking is always a nightmare, so most of us just walk or take a bike to get here. Our building is squeezed in tight between a few others. Inside, we have stacks of polymer materials and different kinds of plastic products piled high. The lighting isn't great, but we have some extra lamps around the work tables so we can see what we are doing. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when we get a big shipment in. We have to shuffle everything around just to make a path to the back of the shop. The air usually smells a bit like new plastic, which you just get used to after working here for a few days. We do not have a website or any of that fancy stuff. People usually just hear about us from someone else in the trade and give us a call. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or trying to track down a specific type of material for a customer. It is mostly just us trying to stay organized in a small space. The street outside is always noisy with people shouting and bikes zooming past, but we have grown to like the energy of the neighborhood.
