Hydro Chem Tech

Down here at 28/1 Spic Nagar in Velachery, things stay pretty busy for us most days. Hydro Chem Tech is our small operation where we handle a lot of water treatment supplies and chemicals. Velachery has changed a lot over the years, with all the new buildings going up, but our little spot in Spic Nagar is still where we do our thing. We have a lot of drums and testing kits lying around the place. It smells like a lab most of the time, which we’ve gotten used to. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of staff. It’s just a few of us who know how to handle the mixtures and the equipment. We spend our days checking levels and filling out logs. Sometimes the monsoon rains make getting to the office a bit of a challenge, as anyone in Velachery knows, but we manage. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing stuff. We just talk to the people who need their water cleaned and get to work. Most of our day is spent in old clothes, working with pipes and tanks. It’s basic, honest work. We like the local vibe here and the people we see every day at the tea shop. We just keep doing what we know how to do without making a big fuss about it. We’ve been here a long time and hope to stay for many more. It is a good place to be.
