Mass Storage Systems

We've been over here at Venkatraman Salai for a while now. It’s a busy spot in Periyar Nagar, usually pretty crowded with traffic outside. Inside, it's mostly just us dealing with racks and shelving units. We spend most of our mornings sorting through orders and checking what's in stock. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place to get the work done. People come by asking about how to fit more stuff in their warehouses or shops, and we just try to show them what fits. It’s physical work, moving parts around and making sure everything is bolted down right. Sometimes the weather gets really hot, making the warehouse feel a bit stuffy, but that’s just how it is. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If you walk past No. 21/C44, you’ll probably see a truck loading or unloading something. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but we’re still right here doing the same thing. It’s not a glamorous job, just nuts and bolts and heavy metal frames. We keep a pot of tea going most of the day. There’s always a bit of dust on the desks from the materials, but we try to keep things organized enough so we don't lose track of paperwork. It's a living, and we’re used to the noise from the street. We just keep our heads down and work.
