Neghizhi Fabrications

You can find us at the Maruthi Complex on Arcot Road in Vadapalani. We are at number 2, right in the middle of all the noise and bustle of the area. Vadapalani is always crowded, and Arcot Road is probably one of the busiest streets around here. Neghizhi Fabrications is a small workshop where we deal with metal and frame work. It’s a noisy job, with all the cutting and welding going on. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings. We have a couple of guys who have been doing this for years. We aren't some big factory with machines doing everything. It’s mostly hand work. The complex itself is quite old, and we've been here long enough that we know all the other shop owners. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets to be a bit much, especially in the summer months. We just keep the fans going and carry on. We don't have a fancy office for meetings. If someone wants to talk about a job, we just stand by the workbench or sit on the stools we have. It’s practical and direct. People bring us their measurements, and we see what we can do. It’s a lot of physical work, but we like seeing the finished product. Arcot Road is always full of life, so there's never a dull moment outside our door. The entrance to the complex can be a bit tricky to find with all the traffic. We usually wait until evening to move big items.
