You can find Naveen Steel Corporation at No 285 Mangal Bhavan, which is on Mugappair Road in the Padi area. Padi is known for being a bit of an industrial hub, so there are always heavy trucks and lorries moving through the streets. Our building, Mangal Bhavan, is a solid old place that has seen a lot of activity over the years. We handle a lot of steel here, so the ground floor is usually busy with people loading and unloading long bars and heavy sheets of metal. It is hard work and it gets quite hot, especially in the afternoons when the sun is beating down on the road. We don’t have any air conditioning in the main storage area, just some big industrial fans that mostly just move the warm air around. The office part is small and crowded with ledgers and stacks of delivery notes. We’ve been at this location for a while, and we’ve gotten used to the constant noise of the traffic on Mugappair Road. It’s a messy business, dealing with steel, and your hands are almost always dirty by the end of the day. We don’t mind it, though. It’s just the nature of the job. Most of our customers are locals or builders from around the city who have been coming to us for years. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the trucks are loaded properly.
