We’ve been tucked away here on 5th Street in Padmanaba Nagar for a good bit now. It’s a quiet enough corner of Adyar, mostly residential, which suits what we do just fine. Our office is at No: 96/80, nothing too fancy, just a place where we keep our papers and meet people who are looking for a place to live around here. Most days start with a bit of a walk from the main road to get here. The neighbors are nice, and we see the same folks walking their dogs or heading to the shops every morning. We handle a lot of the local housing stuff, mostly just talking to people about what’s available in this part of town. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us sitting at our desks and answering the phone when it rings. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets loud, but down here on 5th street, it stays pretty calm. We usually have the windows open if it’s not too hot. If you’re looking for us, look for the old gate near the corner. We don't have a big flashing sign or anything like that, just a small board. People usually find us by word of mouth or just by walking past on their way home. It’s a simple setup, but it works for us. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, new shops coming and going, but we’re still here at the same spot.
