Naffco - National Fire Fighting Manufacturing Company India is located down on Thandalam Arakonam Main Road in Mappedu. Our specific spot is S.No. 1199/1A in Hussein Nagar. It is quite a way out from the city center, but being out here gives us the space we need for manufacturing fire-fighting equipment. It is a big facility because fire trucks and heavy gear take up a lot of room. The sun can be pretty brutal out on the main road, and the dust is constant with the trucks passing by. Inside, it is all about the assembly lines and the testing bays. We make a lot of different things to help put out fires, from small extinguishers to much larger systems. It is serious work, but we don’t talk about it in a heavy way. We just follow the protocols and make sure everything is put together correctly. It is a lot of metalwork and plumbing, essentially. The guys on the floor know their stuff, and we try to keep things moving so we don't fall behind on the orders. It is not a fancy place by any means. It is an industrial plant where people work hard and get sweaty. We don't have a lot of visitors, but we are always busy. It is a steady routine of building, testing, and shipping. We’ve been in this part of Mappedu for a while now and have become part of the local landscape. We just focus on the equipment.
