We are located at Ambika Nivas on Pycrofts Road. The address can be a bit tricky because it is New Number 263 but some older maps still show it as Old Number 112. We’ve been here in Chennai-14 for quite a stretch. N Sankaran&Co is basically a place where we handle the heavy lifting of accounting and tax stuff so other people don't have to. The office is usually humming with the sound of the printer and people talking on the phone. It’s not a fancy setup. We have our desks, our computers, and way too many paper files stacked up in the corners. Sometimes we get pretty busy and the phone just doesn't stop ringing at 9884330623. We also check the emails at ginsmathew@yahoo.com whenever we get a spare minute between audits. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't use any of that corporate speak or try to sound like a big multinational firm. We’re just local accountants who know our way around the tax codes and the local regulations. The days are often long, and the tea breaks are the only thing that keeps us sane during the peak season. We’ve seen all sorts of businesses come and go on Pycrofts Road. For us, the goal is just to keep doing what we do, one balance sheet at a time. It’s a living, and we’re glad to be doing it.
