Mythili Metal Mart

Mythili Metal Mart is our place over at No: 149 in Ashoka Nagar. We are located in Arumbakkam, right near the big water tank which is a good landmark if you are looking for us. Being in Chennai 600106 means we see a lot of people from the nearby houses. We mostly have metal items for the house, things like pots, pans, and other kitchenware. It is a bit noisy sometimes when we are moving the stock around because metal clangs quite a bit. The shop is not very modern, but it does the job. We have stacks of vessels reaching up towards the ceiling. We spend a lot of time cleaning the brass and stainless steel so it doesn't look dull. It is hard work and our hands usually get a bit dirty by the end of the day. People come to us when they are setting up a new kitchen or need a gift for a wedding. We don't have any sales pitch or anything. We just show them what we have on the shelves. Ashoka Nagar is a nice place to be, and being near the water tank makes it easy for delivery trucks to find us. We open up in the morning and stay until late evening. It is just a regular metal mart run by regular people. We have been part of the Arumbakkam landscape for a long time now. We just take it one customer at a time.
