Murali Krishnan A

Our office is over in Chepauk on VOC Street. We are at number 10. Being in this part of Chennai means we are close to a lot of the city's history and the cricket stadium isn't too far away either. Murali Krishnan A and the rest of the team work out of this space. It's an older building, so it has high ceilings and those big heavy doors. We don't have any of those modern office setups you see in the newer parts of the city. It's mostly just sturdy desks and shelves filled with books and folders. The street outside can get quite loud with the traffic, especially when there's something going on nearby. We’ve got a routine that we follow every day. We come in, start on the paperwork, and take a break for tea when we can. It's a very straightforward way of working. We don't spend money on fancy signs or expensive rugs. The floor is just plain tiles and the walls have a few marks here and there from where we've moved furniture around. It feels like a real place where actual work happens. Most people who come to see us are from the neighborhood. We like it that way. It’s honest and practical, and we just get on with whatever needs to be done. We stay busy enough without needing to be flashy. It's a comfortable enough spot for us to spend our days working.
