Our place is at No.342 Kothandapani Street, over in the Rajiv Gandhi Nagar part of Nerkundram. It’s a busy corner of Chennai, and we’ve been operating as MSSP Building Dealer for a while now. Most of our day is spent dealing with builders and people working on their houses. We keep a variety of materials that you’d need for construction. It’s a bit of a crowded space because we try to keep as much as we can in stock. The street can get a bit tight when the delivery lorries come in, but we manage. We aren’t a big corporate chain. We are just a local supplier. You won't find us on big billboards or anything fancy. Usually, people just see our sign when they are passing through Nerkundram or someone tells them to come to us. We try to be helpful when people ask questions about what they need for their builds. It’s a lot of counting bags and checking lists to make sure we don't run out of the basics. The heat in the summer makes the work a bit slower, but we keep at it. Our staff is just a few local guys who know the area well. We don't have any big slogans. We just sell building supplies and try to keep the shop running as well as we can every day. It's simple, honest work that keeps us connected to the neighborhood and the local people.
