M/S Sunshine Plastics

If you look for M/S Sunshine Plastics, you’ll find us at No. 68 on Narayana Mudali Street. This street is incredibly narrow and always packed with people, scooters, and piles of goods. It’s a typical old market area. Our shop is quite small, but we cram a lot of plastic products into every available inch of shelf space. Sometimes it feels like if you pull one thing out, everything else might come tumbling down. We sell all sorts of everyday plastic items that people need for their homes or shops. It’s a very busy environment. We don't have a lot of time for long chats because there’s always someone asking for a price or a specific size. We don't have a website or any of that modern stuff. People just know we are here on the street. Usually, the owner is sitting at the small counter near the front, and a couple of boys are helping fetch things from the higher shelves. The air is always a bit heavy because there isn't much ventilation, but we leave the door wide open to the street. It’s loud, it’s dusty, and it’s very fast-paced. We deal with cash mostly and keep our records in big bound books. It’s the way things have been done here for years. It might look chaotic to someone from outside, but we have our own system that works.
