M/S Sterlite Industries India Location - Balco

We are located in Shantham Colony, right in the Anna Nagar West Extension area of Chennai. It’s a decent neighborhood to work in, though the traffic on the main roads can be a nightmare during rush hour. Our office at 7/1 is where we manage the local side of things. It’s not a huge space, but it serves its purpose for the team we have here. We deal with various industrial projects and logistics, so there’s always a pile of documents to go through. Being in Chennai means we deal with a lot of heat, but the colony is relatively quiet compared to the city center. We aren't the type of people who care much for fancy furniture or high-tech gadgets. As long as the computers work and the internet stays on, we’re happy. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or sending emails to coordinate with other branches. It’s a lot of back-and-forth, making sure everything is lined up correctly. The staff here is pretty relaxed. We usually share some snacks in the afternoon and talk about what’s happening in the news. It’s a comfortable environment, even if it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of visitors. We just focus on getting the shipments and orders organized. It’s a simple way of working, but it’s what we know how to do best. We keep things moving and stay focused.
