Mohib Shoes Pvt. Ltd. is located at No. 18 Sami Street in Periamet. If you know the Periamet area, you know it is the heart of the shoe business. Our building is old, like most things on Sami Street. It has got that specific smell of leather and polish that stays on your clothes even after you go home. We have been here at No. 18 for a long time. The entrance is a bit narrow, and the stairs are steep. We do not have a lift, so we carry everything by hand. The rooms are packed with boxes and samples. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough space to walk, but we manage. The street outside is always crowded with carts and motorcycles. It is a loud, busy neighborhood where everyone is doing something related to footwear. We do not have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you will see us at our desks or checking the stock in the back. It is a bit messy with scraps and labels lying around, but that is how we work. We drink a lot of tea from the shop next door while we talk about the day’s orders. It is not a polished corporate office. It is just a workshop and an office where we put in the hours. Periamet is our home, and we like the grit of it. We just focus on the shoes.
