You can find us at New Number 15 in United India Colony. It’s the 5th Cross Street in Kodambakkam. Some people still get confused with the old number 5, but we have been here long enough that most locals know the way. M.Manickavasagam & Co. is a small team of chartered accountants just trying to do a good job for our clients. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We deal with audits, taxes, and all that kind of paperwork that most people find boring or confusing. It gets pretty loud in the office when everyone is on the phone or typing away at once. We usually have the windows open to catch a breeze, but sometimes the Chennai humidity makes it tough. We take our work seriously but we aren't stuffy about it. We’ve had some of the same clients for years, and they’ve become more like friends who just happen to need help with their money matters. There’s always someone here late during the busy season. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or big ads. We just focus on the ledgers in front of us. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we even work Sundays if the deadlines are tight. That’s just how it goes for us here.
