Mm Steels

We’ve been setting up shop here in Chindhamani for quite some years now. It started out small, just a few of us moving pieces of steel around the yard. Mostly we deal with local builders and people who just need a bit of metal for their home repairs. Our place isn't fancy at all. There’s a lot of dust and the noise of metal clanging is pretty much what we hear all day long. Sometimes the tea guy comes around and that's when we take a break from unloading the trucks. We don't have a big office with air conditioning or anything like that. Just a desk with a lot of papers and some old chairs. It gets hot in the afternoons but we just keep at it because the orders need to go out. The guys working here have been around since the start. We know each other's families and how everyone likes their coffee. People stop by to ask prices or just to see what we have in stock. If we don't have it, we tell them where they might find it. It is just a simple way of doing things. We don't use computers for everything, mostly just pens and notebooks. The yard can get a bit messy when a big shipment arrives but we clear it up eventually. It's just Mm Steels, a local spot in Chindhamani where we work hard and go home tired.
