Madan Steel Centre

Madan Steel Centre is located at 12/7 Ekambareshwar Koil Agraharam. If you know the area, you know it’s a place where a lot of trade happens. We deal with steel, as the name says. The shop is full of metal rods, sheets, and all sorts of heavy items. It’s a bit dusty and loud because of all the loading and unloading that goes on throughout the day. We don't have a quiet office; mostly we’re standing around or moving things. It’s hard work and it gets your hands dirty, but we’ve been doing it for years. People come in looking for specific sizes or types of steel, and we do our best to find what they need in the stacks. We aren't much for talking in a fancy way. We just talk about measurements and prices. The street outside is narrow and can get blocked up with trucks, which is always a bit of a struggle. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and do the billing. It’s a traditional kind of business where you know your customers by face. We don't have a website or anything like that, just this physical shop in the Agraharam. It’s a simple life, focused on moving steel and making sure the orders are right. We just show up every morning and get to work. There isn't much to say beyond that, really. It's just what we do to earn a living here.
