Metal Queen

Metal Queen is located at No:13, Anna Salai Cross Street in Kodungaiyur. It’s a fairly quiet street compared to some of the main roads around here. We’ve been set up in this spot for some time, focusing on different types of metal work. The name sounds a bit different, but we are just a regular shop with regular people working hard. Our space is filled with various sheets of metal and all the tools we need for cutting and bending. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know the trade well. Every morning we open up the shutters and start looking at the orders. Some days it’s very busy and we hardly have time for lunch, and other days it’s a bit slower. We don't do much in the way of fancy displays. If you come by, you’ll see us in our work clothes, probably busy with a torch or a saw. We like being in Kodungaiyur because the community is good and people know they can just stop by with a question. We don’t use any complex business jargon. We just talk about the metal and how to get the shape right. It’s honest labor and we take some pride in making things that last. We’ve had the same regulars for years, and that’s how we like it. No need for big speeches or polished ads, just the sound of the hammer.
