We are Mdm Engineering And Technologies, located over at 245B Pkm Road, right on the Vanagaram Road in Athipet. It’s a busy corner of Chennai. Our shop is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s got a lot of spare parts and tools scattered around. We do a variety of engineering tasks, mostly focusing on technical repairs and small-scale manufacturing. It’s not a high-tech lab. It’s a workshop where we get our hands dirty. The fans are always humming, trying to beat the humidity. A fancy website or a big sales team isn't part of our setup. Usually, people find us because they heard from someone else that we do decent work. We just focus on getting the job done without a lot of fuss. If a part needs fixing, we fix it. When someone needs a component made, we try our best to get it right. We drink coffee from the stall nearby and talk about the day's tasks. There is no corporate ladder here. We are just a few people working together in a small unit. The traffic on Vanagaram Road can be a nightmare, but we’ve lived with it for years. Doors stay open and the machines keep running. It’s a simple way to work, and it suits us just fine. Overcomplicating things isn't our style. We just look at the machine and figure out what’s wrong. It takes time, but we get there eventually.
