People often get confused with the old and new house numbers here on 12th Avenue, but we’re still at the same spot in Ashok Nagar. It’s a busy street and there is always something going on outside our door. Mayur Computers And Peripherals has been sitting here for a good while now, just doing our thing with computers and all the bits and pieces that go with them. It started out small and stayed pretty much that way, which suits us fine. We have shelves full of cables, monitors, and keyboards that sometimes get a bit dusty if they sit too long. The morning starts with opening the shutters and checking what needs fixing from the day before. It’s not fancy inside, just a place where we work. We see a lot of the same faces from around the neighborhood coming in for a mouse or maybe a new hard drive. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have a fan that keeps things moving. If you walk down 12th Avenue, you’ll see the sign for New No. 73. We don't really do much advertising because people just know where we are. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We just try to keep the stock updated and help out whenever someone’s PC starts acting up or they need a spare cable.
