Masco Steel & Aluminium Fabrication

Masco Steel & Aluminium Fabrication is located right on G.P. Road, very close to Mount Road. It is a busy spot and the traffic outside never really seems to stop, so you can always hear the sound of horns and engines while we are working inside. The shop is mostly full of metal pieces, some heavy steel bars and a lot of aluminium frames, just leaned up against the brick walls. We spend most of our day cutting these down and joining things together for different projects. It gets really loud when the big saws are going, and the smell of the welding sparks is something you just get used to after working here for a week. The floor is made of concrete and always has some bits of metal shavings or grey dust on it no matter how many times we try to sweep it up. We have been in this location for a good bit of time now, and the neighbors all know us by the constant sound of the grinding wheels. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building, so we usually keep the big metal shutter all the way up to get some air moving through the workspace. There is not much of an office to speak of, just a small wooden desk in the corner with some messy papers and a calculator for figuring out the sizes.
