Mariamman Steels

Our shop is located at 60 M.T.H. Road in Mannurpet, which is a fairly busy part of the city. We’ve been here at Mariamman Steels for quite some time now, mostly focusing on moving and selling different kinds of steel. It’s a loud place because of all the traffic on M.T.H. Road and the sound of metal clanging together when we load the trucks. The warehouse is a bit dusty and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re more concerned with the inventory than how the place looks. A fancy office with air conditioning isn't something we have; instead, there's just a small desk and some stools where we handle the paperwork. During the middle of the day, it gets really hot, so taking a break when the sun is at its highest is usually what we do. There isn't any kind of big marketing team behind us. Most customers are people who have been coming to this road for years to get their materials. Measuring out steel and making sure the orders are ready for pickup takes up most of our time. Even though it's physical work and can be pretty tiring, we’ve been doing it long enough that it’s just second nature to us now. Having a big mission isn't something we worry about, we just show up every morning and get the work done. If you're looking for us, just look for the number 60 sign.
