Mahavir Computer Spares & Mahavir Multimedia

Down on Narasingapuram Street, it’s always packed with people looking for parts. We are up on the first floor at number 18, which is a bit quieter than the ground level but not by much. If you know Mount Road, you know how busy this whole area gets during the day. We’ve got Mahavir Computer Spares and the multimedia side of things all crammed into the space. There are shelves everywhere filled with all kinds of small components and spares that we’ve collected over time. Sometimes it feels like we’re running out of room, but we manage to find what we need eventually. It’s a lot of manual work, checking boxes and making sure everything is where it belongs. We don’t bother much with decorations or anything like that. The walls are mostly covered with stock. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and the regulars know exactly where to find us. It’s hot in the summer, especially on the first floor, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. People come to us when they can't find a specific part elsewhere. It’s a practical kind of business. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything; it’s just us handling the daily requests. It’s a simple setup, really, and it works for what we do here in Chennai. We usually stay open until the sun goes down and the street gets a bit less hectic.
