At Maharashtra Road Carrier Pvt. Ltd., we are located at No. 34 on Linghi Chetty Street. Our office is on the second floor, so you have to walk up a flight of stairs to find us. Linghi Chetty Street is always full of activity, with people moving goods and carts everywhere. It’s a historic part of the city, and the buildings reflect that. Our space is pretty basic, just some desks, a few old computers, and plenty of ledgers. We handle a lot of the logistics for road transport from this small room. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get it done. We prefer to focus on making sure the schedules are kept and the drivers know where they are going. There’s a constant hum of fans to keep the air moving, and usually, someone is making a cup of tea in the corner. We don't use big words or corporate talk here. We’re just a bunch of folks trying to run a transport business as smoothly as possible. Some days are stressful when there are delays on the highway, but that's just the nature of the job. We close up around six or seven and do it all again the next day. It’s a simple, hardworking environment where we just get things done. We also have a small area downstairs where drivers wait sometimes. It gets a bit crowded during the peak hours, but we’ve managed to figure out a system that works for us.
