Our place is at 15, Govindappa Naicken Street. That is where Madras Metal Inc. has been for quite a while now. If you know this street, you know it is always humming with activity. It’s one of those narrow, busy lanes where there’s always something being loaded or unloaded from a cart or a truck. We fit right into that atmosphere. The building at number 15 isn't anything special to look at, but it is where all our work gets done. We have stacks of metal and paperwork everywhere. It’s a bit cramped, honestly, but we make it work. Every morning starts with opening up the shutters and seeing what the day has brought us. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy things about us. We are just the people you talk to when you walk through the door. The air is often filled with the sound of the street and the clanging of metal. We know most of the other shop owners on Govindappa Naicken Street. It feels like a small community even though it's so busy. We don’t spend money on fancy furniture or decorations because we’d rather just focus on the metal. It’s a basic setup that has served us well over the years. We stay busy from morning until evening, just keeping up with the orders and the people who stop by.
