M S Bollineni Casting Steel Ltd Nellore is our company, but we run things from our office in Chennai. We are located at Plot No. 414 in the Tamilnadu Housing Board area of Avadi. It’s a bit of a funny setup because we deal with casting and steel, but the office is right in a residential housing board neighborhood. You’ll see kids playing outside and neighbors drying clothes while we are inside talking about steel tonnage and casting molds. The office is in an MIG flat, so it’s not very big. We have files taking up most of the spare space on the tables. Because we are linked to the work in Nellore, there is a lot of back-and-forth communication on the phones. The phone is basically attached to someone's ear all day. Chennai can be incredibly humid, so we usually have the fans going at full speed to keep cool. We aren't a big flashy corporation with a lobby; we are just a group of people working out of a flat to make sure the steel business stays on track. It gets a bit cramped when we have visitors, but we make it work somehow. We don't have any marketing people or a fancy website team. We just handle the steel casting requirements and keep the paperwork moving so the guys at the plants can do their jobs. It is just daily business for us.
