LONSDALEITE CONSTRUCTION (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED

We are a small operation based in Adambakkam. Our office is over on Saraswathi Nagar 6th Street West. It’s actually in a residential-style building, Flat 5 and 6 on the first floor. This is an OPC, meaning it's a one-person company setup, though we have a few hands to help with the actual building. We do construction work mostly in the southern parts of Chennai. Adambakkam is a good spot for us. It’s not as crazy as the city center but still close enough to get everywhere. We spend most of our time out on the field. The office is really just for the evenings when we have to catch up on the books. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a receptionist or a big sign outside. We prefer to keep our overhead low so we can just focus on the building part. Sometimes we have to deal with the rains and the flooding that happens in this area, which can really mess up a schedule. We just take it as it comes. We aren't trying to be the most famous builders in town. We just like the process of seeing something go from a drawing to a real structure. It’s a lot of physical work and sometimes a lot of stress with the local regulations. But we’ve been doing this for a while and we know the ropes.
