Lifelong Metal Products

We’ve been here at 322 in the Sidco Industrial Estate for a while now. It’s pretty busy in the North Phase of Ambattur, lots of trucks coming in and out every morning. Mostly, we just keep our heads down and work on whatever metal parts are on the schedule for the day. The shop floor is loud, that's just how it is. We deal with various metal items, cutting and shaping things. Some of the guys have been with us for years, they know the machines better than anyone else does. It’s not fancy work, but it fills the day. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate, which is a headache for everyone, but we manage. We just try to get the orders done so they can be loaded up and moved out. The gates open early and we usually stay until the sun starts to go down. It gets hot inside during the summer, especially with the machinery running non-stop. We drink a lot of tea and just keep moving. If you walk past our unit, you’ll likely hear the grinding or the sound of metal hitting metal. We don’t spend much time in the office because there is always something to check on the floor. It’s a straightforward setup. We have the space we need for the raw materials and the finished bits. That is basically our life here in Ambattur, just making stuff out of metal every day.
