Larsen & Toubro Limited

You can find our office at No 29/8 on the 1st Cross Street in B.V. Nagar. We are located in Nanganallur, which is a busy part of Chennai. Shanmugasundaram is the person who runs things here for Larsen & Toubro Limited. It’s a local neighborhood office, so it feels more like a home than a big business center. We have been in this spot for quite a while now. The street outside is usually full of people and scooters, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work. Inside, we keep things pretty quiet so we can focus on our tasks. We deal with a lot of different projects, and our desks are always covered in drawings and notes. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but we know where everything is. We drink plenty of coffee and try to stay ahead of the deadlines. Sometimes the heat in Chennai can be a bit much, but we have a small air conditioner that does its best. We aren't interested in fancy presentations. We just want to get the engineering and planning right. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so there’s a real sense of community in the office. We just take it one day at a time, making sure we handle our responsibilities and keep things moving. It’s a good, honest place to work, and we like being here. When the day is done, we lock up and head out like everyone else.
