This specific branch is the Robotics & Automation Section, located at 10, Club House Road, Anna Salai. While the name on the door is big, we are just the group working here in this part of Chennai. Anna Salai is always moving. There is never a quiet moment outside on the street. We spend our days tucked away inside, looking at diagrams and working on automated systems. It is a bit different from the heavy construction stuff people usually associate with the name. Here, it is more about the fine details and the programming. The office has seen better days, maybe, but it serves us well. We have a lot of computers and some prototype parts lying around on the tables. It is not as tidy as a showroom, but we know where everything is. We grab lunch at the local spots nearby. The heat in this part of the city can be something else during the summer. We are just a team of engineers and technicians trying to make things work more efficiently. We don't really have a grand philosophy or anything like that. We just look at the problem in front of us and try to find a way to automate it. Sometimes the code doesn't work the first time, or a part doesn't fit right. We just keep at it until it does. It is steady work. We show up, we do the job, and we go home.
