L & T - Iscar

L & T - Iscar is tucked away in Section 10 of the Larsen & Toubro Limited building on Club House Road. It’s right off Anna Salai, so the traffic is always a mess outside. If you’ve ever tried to park around here, you know what I mean. We work in the insulation section. It’s a lot of inventory management and making sure the right parts go to the right places. Even though it’s a big company name, our daily life is pretty grounded. We have a small crew here. We spend a lot of time in the warehouse area. It gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. We deal with a lot of heavy items and paperwork that never seems to end. We aren't really the type to wear suits. Most of us are in work clothes because things get dirty. We grab lunch from the small stalls nearby. It’s a routine we’ve had for years. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up a shipment. The street lights on Anna Salai come on and the city sounds different then. We just focus on getting the tasks done. There isn't much room for fluff in what we do. It’s about the items on the shelves and the people waiting for them. We’ve been at this location for a while now and we know the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the road noise.
